1st Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection
Saint Padre Pio:
“One day, Mary Magdalene spoke with the Divine Savior, but felt like He had left her alone. She cried and had such a great longing for Him, that she didn’t recognize Him while she was standing before Him. She thought it was the gardener. The same thing also happens to you very often. Courage, my good daughter, and don’t worry, because the Divine Master is with you always. He never leaves you alone. Why be afraid? Why complain? Mary Magdalene wanted to embrace the Lord, and the Lord, even though He had allowed her so many times, wouldn’t let her do it this time: No, He said, don’t touch me, because I have not gone to my Father yet. May Jesus enlighten you, that you can understand this. Up there, there won’t be any obstacles anymore, but here we have to face such sufferings. But God is our God, and He is always there for us. May our hearts be His temple.” (Letter, III, 750)

2nd Glorious Mystery: The Ascension
Saint Padre Pio:
“We know, that Jesus wanted to show himself as the Risen One through the forty days. Why? He wanted to definitively strengthen our faith through the power of His resurrection. Jesus thought, that by not showing Himself to us as the Risen One, we would not be strengthened sufficiently in our faith. I say this that, strong in our faith, we do not experience the Resurrection solely as something exterior, but that the resurrection may transform and renew us first of all in our spirit.” (Letter, IV, 1120)

3rd Glorious Mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit
Saint Padre Pio:
“I never cease to ask our Dear God for and your family, my dear daughter, that all which God has in His plan with you and the others may be fulfilled so that your desire for perfection may be accomplished. You have to love and nourish this desire in your heart, because it is the work of the Holy Spirit, and a spark of the Divine Fire.” (Letter, III, 836)

4th Glorious Mystery: The Assumption
Saint Padre Pio:
“The Divine Love reached such a strength in Our Lady’s heart, that it surpasses the love of any other mortal creature. The soul of the Blessed Virgin Mary was set free from the bonds of her body. She was floating like a dove into the arms of her Beloved. And Jesus, who reigns in heaven with His holy human nature which He took from the body of the Virgin Mary, wanted His mother to enter into heaven with body and soul, to share in His glory. And it is worthy and just. It would be unthinkable, that her body, which was never subject to sin and Satan, would become corrupt in the moment of death.” (Letter, IV, 1124)

5th Glorious Mystery: The Coronation
Saint Padre Pio:
“The outer doors are closing and Our Lady enters in. As soon as those who venerate her see her adorned with the splendor of her beauty, they greet her, venerate her with the most beautiful titles, throw themselves to her feet, give her all honor and with one voice proclaim her their queen.” (Letter, IV, 1126)
